Leave the classroom and observe, at the partner (Azul Linhas Aéreas), how the process really happens. The visit confirms or corrects the Day 1 spec's assumptions and gives the group a sharpened spec — the input the platform will be built from tomorrow. Building on assumptions costs rework; the visit anchors the solution in reality.

A well-prepared visit pays off three times over. Bring the spec and arrive with questions ready.
What to bring and what to ask
- The Day 1 spec printed or at hand — it's the observation script.
- A short list of assumptions to confirm and split roles (who asks, who takes notes, who observes).
- Questions worth gold: how does the process work today, step by step? Which criteria weigh in the decision? Where is there the most manual work? What data exists and in what format? What can't be missing — and what must never happen?

Focus on the real process, not on paper
- How the process happens in practice and which criteria the team uses, and how they weigh against each other.
- What data exists and in what format it arrives.
- Follow the data's path from start to finish; note exact phrases from those who live the problem.
- Capture concrete examples and mark what surprised you — it's often a hidden requirement.
🔄 Back in the room — debrief
Back in the room, turn what you saw into a revised spec. Adjusting things from memory gets lost; write them down.
Group debrief
- Gather everyone's notes in one place and compare with the spec: what was confirmed, what changed.
- Revise the evaluation criteria with what you heard at the partner.
- Adjust actors, input, output and constraints to reality; refine the acceptance criteria.
- Keep the evidence — it justifies decisions in the Day 5 pitch.
Deliverable of the day
Spec revised with what was observed, evaluation criteria confirmed with the partner, and the evidence (notes, examples, real constraints) organized.
